Masks are a Must!

Masks Are A Must

On April 30th, the Texas Medical Board release an emergency rule, stating that the patient and the provider must wear masks when within proximity of the patient, or provider.

If you do not have a mask, we will provide one for you at the door.

According to the CDC, a simple face cloth will suffice and can be made from everyday household items or inexpensive materials. For example, a scarf, bandana, or a piece of an old t-shirt.

Please reserve any medical-grade masks for healthcare providers (HCP).

On average, a physical or practitioner sees approximately 20 patients daily. A lack of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as a mask, can place that provider at risk for exposure, and to contract COVID-19.

In the best-case scenario, the HCP is restricted from work for 14 days, 5 of which are working days, all adding up to the possibility of 200 or more patients needing medical care go unseen.

Working in medicine comes with great care, compassion, and responsibility for life. Please help us keep you safe, by partnering with us, and reserving medical-grade masks.

Follow the CDC guidelines for making your mask creations, or support local business mask makers.

Please remember Masks are a Must!
